I'm getting 18 MPG in town, and I get about 27 on the highway. My town driving consist of a lot of stop and go traffic.

I can get 24 around town but i have this disease with my right foot, and it causes it to itch all the time so I get about 21-22 in town. When It was my DD and I went to work, free way miles Id get 31. Im very happy with these numbers. As all other vehicles ive ever owned (trucks) get about 16 and my lifted 4runner gets 12 free way. Yikes I have an 07 Base with a dual cat back exhaust.

More hp/torque=less MPG. THAT'S a scientific fact. The posters who claim 22,city--&-above MPG are d-r-e-a-m-i-n'. CR did a research on that subject recently,
& EPA's numbers are way exaggerated, due to the HUGE payola by the auto-
motive industry! Sorry to spoil the fun for some Zed owners. The GOOD NEWS is: Our "Zs" are one of the best-MPG sports cars on the market! A reli-
able engine with relatively good mileage, you can't beat that!!!

you sir, are wrong. there are MANY v8's with much more hp/torque than the Z that can get just as good, if not BETTER, gas mileage.

and as far as gas mileage goes, the avg mpg posted will mean nothing to the next person because of the huge variances in driving conditions. Like i've stated before, if you really want to compare mpg, you also need to show the avg mph at that mpg. luckily, the Z already calculates that for you. .

That being said, my 07 avgs 20.8 mpg at an avg of 26 mph.

'04.5 here, but at an average speed of 22 mph city I get 16.7 mpg.

No highway trips yet.

Obviously don't get to highway speed often enough here in Atlanta
