CC keeps the cops off your a$$ as well for those lonely highway trips home from the clubs.

im no Z guru, but i know with many other new cars adding factory cruise control is as simple as adding the cruise control stalk or changing the steering wheel buttons (if its on the steering wheel) and plugging it in since the circuitry is already there, specially if the car is DBW.

Not all models use the same ECU. There are over 20 ECUs listed for the 5 model years. What goes in all the others isn't necessarily in the Base ECU.

I haven't used my cruise control since I've owned the car which is almost 4 years. What I need is the radio controls on the '06 and above because my very affordable Mazda3 has radio controls on the steering which is extremely handy. I would at times press my left Z steering wheels looking for the buttons. Cruise control is the last option I would want on my car.

The Z has been out of 5 years now and I've yet to see anything that will add CC to a base model Z.
