It really doesn't matter how many people drive the Z. It's a great car, and of course as more and more become more affordable there will be more people driving them (including dumb ****s). Best thing to do is to make your Z your own. There are a million aftermarket parts out there to help us make our Z's exactly how we want them....then NO ONE will have a car like yours

I notice that there are some younger people driving z's. Havent seen too many driving an HR like i am but some in the older models.

Here's something though, i remember guys in high school driving mustang cobras, camaro ss, trans am's, and some with those trucks that cost more then a house.

The z is not singled out as being the only sports car that is widespread amongst age groups. I will say this though, the resell value of the z does plunge fast compaired to other sports cars. It has me considering if i need to just swap my z for something else or totally enjoy the car and rag it out then sell it after its tired from years of hard driving then sell it for the low amount they get. Its a sports car most people will double the miles on it becuase they assume its been driven like a sports car.

LOL Halarious man! Who cares what other kids have. The #1 Part I love about my Z is the Classy Look that it has. Most kids will RICE there cars out with so many parts to make it look cheap. You can do that with ANY car, REGUARDLESS of its price. It all matters on the owner. Hence why all of our cars should be unique to our likings

LOL this reminds of me last week at the gas station. this kid in a 240 rolls up and asks "You looking to get rid of that"....I said no its brand new, then he asks "where'd you get it" I paused then said .......at the dealer. After that, he looks at me with a blank face and speeds off almost hitting a guy walking to his car. I could just imagine when this kid, picks up a Z and asks where he can get ebay parts.

You should realize though its not just Z's that are losing value. All sports cars are getting cheaper, with gas and recession.

A lot of people including I at one point make comments about so and so car getting "played out" and becomming to common.

It just means the car is a good seller, if you take care of your car long enough. You will stand out again on its great condition after its 8+ years old.

Default Reality Check

We all have a great car. It looks good, drives well, is realiable and affordable. If some young kid can also buy a great car, good luck to them.

+1

It's unfortunate that the value is dropping if/when you sell the car, but it doesn't diminish the fact that it's a very enjoyable car.

I purchased the z because
1) It looks unlike other sports cars, sleek, aerodynamic, and not ricey
2) Torque and overall powerband increases my heart rate, with a big **** grin.3) Ability to mod it, and differentiate it from others.
4) When purchasing, I NEVER contemplated that because it is a affordable car used, young adults will be driving them- look at all the BMW out there.
Ya ok, are zs dont hold the resale value, it's a mass produced car after all.
Enjoy lifes to short..

Why even compare ITR's to z's? ITR's are extinct, as in they will no longer produce the dc2 type r's. Anyone can grab a Z at a local dealership if they got the cash.

I'm 16 and have had my Z for a year now. No tickets, and still yet to "wrap it around a tree"..but I will admit I've had my fun with it. But yeah..a kid at my school just got a brand new Nismo Z.

other day in NJ the day was shitty and was starting to rain bad as i was driving to a friends. I decided for the hell of it to take the Z so the pollen gets all washed off in the rain cause i was going to wash it anyway. Well i RARELY see any Z's over near me, but on a crap day like that day it was like all the z owner's came out of their holes. i counted 15 in the matter of an hour.

ps. whose the Kid in North Brunswick with a white Z always Revving the engine when i pass him?

LOL over here in Australia u cant get a 350z for under 32k and that would be a very poor example for 32k. So the 350z is still very much a highly desired car and there arent many gettin round. Im 21 and i get some hell dirty looks cause i would be one of the younger owners of a 350z in Aus.
