Tough question.

I find the Z very comfortable, but I like to sit fairly straight up.

I first adjust the bottom of the seat so I can easily press the clutch all the way in without stretching my leg. Once I get that right, I adjust the back so I can reach just a bit over the top of the wheel with the palm of my hand. I also test to make sure I can easily get to all the gears and I spin the wheel 180 degrees in either direction without taking my hands off just to make sure I can maneouvre easily in those tight corners.

I guess my seating position is dictated by my ability to drive the car, and not by comfort. Luckily, I feel fine when everything settles into place.

Good luck!

You fail to mention where you lack comfort.. Is it the seat back?? The seat Bottom?? How big are you?? There are so many combinations, you'll just have to play with the seat.. I found I had to raise the seat bottom so the front is high to prevent the slipping of of seat problem. I have a touring model with the leather seats. I fooled with the back slope until I got it just right. I'm 6' tall and weight 180 lbs. The only real complaint I have is the lasck of a lumbar support in the seat back and a need for a pull out bolster for leg support. I still may replace my seats with Recaro's.. I'm not in my 20's anymore and could use the extra support..

Standard racing position is very straight-backed. Something I have learned from SCCA driving is that if you old your hand straight out, your writst should be equal with the steering wheel.
