Default how long are your brakes lasting (esp. brembos)??

the guys over at the G35C forums are complaining about short brake life...several had them changed at 12k and 15k miles, at a cost of $800. yuck. Ofcourse, the dealer tells them "oh, they're performance brakes, they're suppose to do that"

For us potential buyers, it worries us big time.

Being that the 350z have very similar designs, I'm just wondering what kind of brake wear have you guys experienced on your Z, esp. ones with brembos?

Seems premature unless the brakes are under some hard core stopping all the time.

Brakes in my C5 vette lasted about 30k miles. I think somone on this board has around 20kmiles on their Z, maybe they will chime in.

I wish....

I'm currently debating between a Z and a G35C.

In the meanwhile, you can catch me in a white 330i (the only one in town with a roof spoiler and 19s) or a riced-out red integra GSR which I'm selling

BTW, i thought I saw a suped up daytona blue z in town (with aftermarket rims)...any clue who?

12k on my Touring 6-speed and I haven't seen any indication they are near replacement yet.

12500 on my Track, just had TSBs done, no replacement needed for brakes yet. And being in SoCal, stop and go is not only a convenience store.
