Default 350Z on Monster Garage

If they did an episode of monster garage with the 350Z what do you think they should do to it?
I was thinking maybe make it into an ice cream truck.

I hope they never let that guy destroy a Z. I saw what they did to that Mustang--the boat paint and the wheels just REALLY rubbed me the wrong way.

Don't get me wrong, they're very inventive, and whatnot, but I think I'd get VERY agitated watching them tear up a perfectly good Z.

doubt they would ever do it. was the mustang new?

Id imagine they shy away from really new cars just because they are so complicated, all running off advanced computers and whatnot, they wont take kindly to modification. Assuming they have any clue where to start.

The Mustag they worked with was one of the 5.0's... older body style. They created the "worlds fastest lawn mower" out of it. Put one of those delta decks in the back that dropped out, and painted the car candy green with flames and these gold spoke wheels on it.

ares--they did use a new bettle on one of the shows. Made a swamp rafter out of it. Pretty crazy stuff! I have a feeling that *if* they did use a Z, all the high tech stuff would get ripped out and the car would basically be gutted. That's why I don't want to see it happen.

Jesse James raced in the 360 Modena Ferrari challenge at this years Canadian F1 GP - black Modena with trade mark flames up the sides - quite a sight. He might be a great mechanic and customizer but he certainly ain't no racing driver !

I enjoy the show, but all they do is hack jobs that need to last for 15 minutes. I'd enjoy watching the show better if they took a couple more days to make the car perform.

The Mini was cut to pieces with no regard to structural body integrity. If they did things right instead of just using the Sawzall as a fix to everything it would be a much better show.

I hope they never lay there hands on a 350Z unless their plan is to make it into a 1000HP funny car or something cool like that. Please no boats or lawnmowers or rock crawlers.

they should turn the Z into a rolling sushi bar with restaurant size rice cooker and rollout bar table and stools and an area for making the sushi...maybe a moat so the pieces of sushi can be placed on boats and float along the bar where people can pick and choose what they want.

dont get me started on that a-hole jesse james.

he can fab motorcycle fenders and tanks, and he has good ideas for motorcycles, but thats about it.

i came from the off-road scene, and watching the "rock crawler" episode of monster garage almost made me vomit. jesse lives to tear stuff up, and that doesnt bother me so much. what does bother me is his seriously bad attitude. i wouldnt mind knocking his **** out..

and what about that $3000 budget constraint and "stock appearance"? they threw that out the window long ago.

heck, the show doesnt even give props to vendors. the guy who gave jesse the wheels for that rock crawler didnt even get mentioned, even though he gave away a $2000 set of trick custom wheels. the guy who GAVE them the driveshafts FOR FREE was disrespected when the show made it appear that the crew had to pay for them.

i wouldnt mind seeing them tear into a Z, whats it matter? there are tons out there, with more coming, so why not?

its entertainment, and i must admit that the idea of watching someone sawzall a Z would be a good watch

but screw jesse james..

I kinda like that dude. He has a bad *** ferrari 360. It was shown on the one where they made a motorcycle ride into a toyota tundra or something.

It's a fun show and I wouldn't mind seeing a Z on it. Who cares if it gets ripped up. Nissan will be making 40,000 a year for a long time. Plus it'll up the resale of mine

every show i've seen...and i've seen them all...they montion all the vendors who give them "freebees". whether it's during the show, in the credits, or if there is a shot of the logo or the store name. so, yes, everyone is mentioned. even when they went 30K over budget to make the geo tracker into the hot air balloon....everyone was mentioned. but, sure, chop up a z....i'd like to see what creative idea he could come up with. why do you all of you people get your panties in a bunch about it? he's not tearing up your car. it's creative. not like someone watches it and says "i'm never going to buy a mini cause he turned one into a snow mobile" or "i'm never going to buy a mustang cause he turned it into a lawnmower". it's all just him being creative. the show was enough of a hit that they came out with monster house even. now that show is funny!

I doubt it. The reason they did the new mini and the tundra was that it was sponser by bmw and toyota. And have to admit, those came out the best looking outta the bunch. Unless Nissan sponsers them, doubt they gonna go buy and cut up a new Z.

It'd be cool if they came up with a James Bond type of car, full of machine guns ,rockets and all kinda useful stuff to blow the hell out of people who don't know how to drive.

Discovery Channel--I think it's on Monday nights, but not sure. Hubby likes the show, not me.
