That's f'ing ugly. About a year and a half later, I was driving one :P

 

LOL, I remember that i thought is was a waste with no turbo's so my brother got the STI in 04 then I talked to vinny ten and he told me they made a twin turbo kit, so in 05 i bought my super black with burnt orange interior and slapped the JWT TT on it....so i can beat up on my older brother's STI.80)

 

"Thats my next car" lol and it was and still is lol now i just had that same feeling after seeing the GT-R and it will be once they can be ordered

 

I wasn't a fan, I thought it had a plain look at the front end and I didn't like the door handles. Needless to say it grew on me. Just like the 370Z will hopefully grow on me =)

 

I wasn't too big on them. Then my older brother decided to get a blue one. That color was instant Secks...... He had to return the blue one because of bad dealer tactics, so, he went up to orange county and got one in Interlagos Fire color. At first, I thought the color was disgusting and ugly, but after a while, I fell in love with it.

 

honestly....my first thought was....is that a purple car?

 

jaw drop...wow..week later went to the dealer and you know the rest..

I was in of university and the car show was in town. I had a mid day break in classes friday so i decided to go and check it out when it wouldnt be so overcrowded etc like saturday.

they had an orange one and i was able to take a seat, i thought the gauges layout was super trick and loved the feel and look of the drivers area.

after stepping back and taking it all in i said - **** yeah!! im buying one of those when i graduate....a red one!!!

i held up my end of the bargain!- ive had it for nearly a year and i love every minute i get to drive it!!

I loved the look of the 300Z it was SO wide.

but it grew on me!

 

I vividly remember a black one tormenting me every day on my way home from work. I had my stupid Contour SVT, and every day one that drove home the opposite way would pull up to the same light facing me. At first my jaw just dropped, then I started looking at it more and I was curious how anyone could see out of the windows on that car. Then I would think about how awesome it would be if I could have a car like that one day, but it probably costs a fortune.

 

Went weak in the knees first time I saw the Z. Last time that happened was new years 1970 when I picked up my then G/F, now wife, who looked absolutely stunning.

 

Saw a Dayton Blue coming up in the rear view and as it passed, I caught a quick glimpse of a 3/4 view. How the hatch window almost touched the tire and the bulging rear quarter just struck me as full race. I bought one about 6 weeks later in August 03.

The very first time I sat in a Z 5 years ago, I actually didn't like the high rise window line, felt trapped...but as I researched more into it "eh..." became
"damn this is tight!" & took the plunge this year harharhar~

 

First time I saw this car, I didnt like it because it looks like a "frog" from the rear view.
