One of the safest cars on the road!

Just got 5-stars in roll-over resistance test...along with five stars in just about every other category.

Cool! Now maybe my dad will rest a little easier--he didn't like that I bought the car--thinks I'm gonna hurt myself in it.

Yeah - my dad had the same concerns ... he rather me be driving another SUV ... although the Explorer he got me was just awesome! I LOVED the Firestone tires on it ... my sister loved 'em as well! She was in one of the accidents ...

Happy driving!

My dad doesn't care, he thinks I am an idiot for buying the Z.

Why? My parent's love the Z, my mom gets all excited when she rides in it, and my dad had his share of fast cars in his day.

Default I asked my agent ...

I posed this question to my agent when the first round of reports came out regarding crash tests and and 350Z. He (State Farm agent) told me that these test results didn't matter and held no weight in the eyes of the insurer. He further explained that they don't base ratings on these type tests - more work off statistics and regional results.

Perhaps this isn't true of all car insurance companies - but I'd not hesitate to ask before making any sort of decisions - or using it to support an "argument" to get a Z.

Personally, I feel much better knowing how safe I am in my car and these tests do more than satisfy my curiosity there!
