I know of one site I looked at, that has 350Z leather seat covers. They offer an upholstery set for $900. Click this link for more info, and no I don't work for them

To the OP, it depends on what you want and need. Personally I think that Nissan has a good bang-for-buck advantage against BMW and Mercedes. If it's just speed and performance you're after, for the amount of money you spend on a Mercedes or BMW, you could buy a Z and save significant money, or put some cash into modding your Z later down the road and have a car that is at least as fast as what they offer while still having some money left over.

If you're after luxury or sport/luxury or prefer a premium brand I'd recommend BMW or Mercedes (perhaps even Infiniti). Something to consider: although they seem to be very good cars, in the event that something goes wrong parts and maintenance can burn some real holes in the wallet. On top of that the dollar is getting weaker against the euro so you could potentially pay even more for a car that's already expensive to own and maintain as it is. But if you can afford the prestige that one of those brands may bring, more power to you.

My advice, test drive and research whatever you're considering and hopefully you'll have a car that fits you and your needs.

get the HR 07 it can walk evo mr/srt4. i love it, it feels so solid,; no body roll.. the seats always get chaffed getting in and out of the Z. closest il be able to get to street bike.!!!! i get 28.5mpg average 63mph, in traffic(idle) i get 12mpg 5mph. 19.8mpg at 45mph. when i fill up i get 420 mile DTE distance to empty give or take a couple gallons. thats on a 20 gallon tank, if you like power and the looks get it i love mine. i came from a 03 nissan spec v sentra. the Z makes my spec v feel like a cheap soft metal car.

If I remember correctly, it was $650 installed. They fit like a glove - like I said, this is the company that does the "dealer installed" leather in Nissan cars. They cut the cloth covers off the seat and install these on the seat body just like the factory leather installs. You can choose any color or color combinations you want. Mine were charcoal and grey. The site is www.classicsofttrim.com

Got quoted 32k for a loaded up touring edition and 29k for a enthusiast. Good prices or no? I wasn't overly impressed...but these are email quotes.

Generally email quotes along with any other internet quotes are going to be higher then if you go to the dealer. I would really recommend you go drive one and then you can determine in your own mind if it is a good deal or not. In the end you are the one driving it and you must like it before you spend the money. So to some that may be a good deal, but you may not after driving the car.

What kind of "power" will this Z have compared to the LS1 Camaro ad Firebirds? Anyone own both? Im coming from an LS1 Camaro...but obviously I cant let it all out during a test drive.

Its not about power, its about control. My last car was a Firebird and when you were going 80 or 90mph it felt like you were going fast, in my Z when you are going 120 or 130 it feels like your going about 60 or 70mph. Why do you care about power, are you going to be using the Z for straight line drag racing?? In a Z you can drive fast and go on a curvy road and have fun doing it. The LS1 might beat a Z in a straight line race but if you add a few curves to the mix the Z will smoke the LS1
