mine is 9/6, in Durham NC. I think I have seen some in the east coast around 8/30. That week should be interesting for a lot of us!

*******:

I think this week will be interesting, indeed. I have heard conflicting reports that the cars will arrive on the 21st in Newark, NJ. (Others have said they are already there, but I highly doubt that.)

My dealer has no VINS yet, and is expected to get them Monday (this jives with the same word from another area dealer). I have also been told my car should be in my garage by the 1st week of September.

I have all fingers and toes crossed that my car shows up soon. It's been a long couple of years lusting after this car. At this point, all I want to see is a set of keys in my hand...

I'm guessing it'll be the first day after Labor Day... I return from my trip to SF that day... but since I'll be leaving for the Balkans the next weekend, I told my father that if he lets me borrow some cash for a downpayment, I'll let him break in teh car the 10 days I'm gone... I'll find out tomorrow if he'll go for it... Honestly, I think he's too nervous that someone would hit it... I trust him though, he's a very conservative driver...

I'm twitching in my seat at the moment of my Z arriving in 2 weeks...

NSany, My dealer in toms river says he doesnt know anything about vins either, but I have a hunch he is scared of technology, because when I preordered he asked my for my email, because it was on the sheet, He said that I wont get any emails from him, because he doesnt own a comp or have an email address, he didnt have a comp at his desk either. So I guess I wont find out till he sees the cars rollin in. Oh well

I'm in the Washington DC Metro area. I have my VIN# and the expectated date of delivery is September 4.

Oh, I also got the Mr K's Collection Hat, duffel bag (modern) (gonna keep all documents/sevice invoices/articles/mailings etc relating to the car in there) and 350Z Model 1:24 from http://www.courtesyparts.com/350z/index.html

Seems I'm all set to go, except for 1 little thing....THE Z!!!!

Default Z on it's way

Was told my Daytona Blue base 6spd. Sept. 11 or better and would be the 1st one delievered to Delaware. They will have vin # for me tomorrow. I bought at Sheridan Nissan in New Castle, DE. A Dealer in Dover, DE wanted $5k over Msrp. and $2k down. Ordered in mid. Feb. So I shopped and got it for sticker. What is nice. New cars registered in DE can go 5 years before next motor V. inspection. Floor carpets, mud flaps and other accessories yo udon't put in with the sale of the car. Sales tax on cars in DE is 2.75% and everything else is tax free. Annual registration is $20 so I'll pay for 5 years up front for $100 and not see them for 5 years then it will be time to turn it over to my son then he will be old enough to drive. I has been torment waiting I sold my '95 in Feb after order was placed, thank God what a glut of used Z's on the market and some bargains can be found. New rides on the way!

Thanks for posting what you edited. I had read nissan350zparts post and I couldn't imagine what you had taken out that would be offensive. Obviously, I had no way of knowing about any pictures attached.

My car arrives at newport news VA on the 21 of this month. Assuming 7 days for transit to Greensboro, I expect to see it around the 28th. (I have no options to delay shipment from the port to the dealership).
