maybe Zedhed will offer to lay day infront of my Z so my tires don't drop off the other side of the speed bump so soon, making me bottom out.

to slow down workers at my office building they put in two speed bumps...they're 4' wide and 6" high. they put them in one day while i was working late....came out of the building at 7pm and couldn't get out of the parking lot. had to drive out the wrong way on a 1 way entrance. complained to mgmt and told them about....and later found out that state law said they could be no higher than 4". this was 2 months ago....the speed bumps are still there....just alot shorter than they were originally....from every sports car in the building dragging frame on them.
all i can say is safety...........my arze!

so... here's me, holdng back my anger in one of the pics. You can also see my girl's 4x4 Xterra SE and how it looks with the speed bumps... I did not feel like waking the up Z just so I could torture her over these giant hills. In one of the pics you can see a guy working on one. They are digging out one they put in a few weeks ago, because it was too low. I noticed they have been slowly replacing all the speed bumps that weren't so bad and bringing them up to the outrageous standards of all the other ones that have a very squarish shape to them. The pics taken at "ground level" actually where taken with the camera on the ground. You can see a lot of them are already scraped up and these have only been in for maybe one month...

**** the apartment complex...buy/rent a house!
I think the speed humps work just as well as the bumps, since they arent as rough on your front end or your under carriage. Doesnt look like you have many choices since they apartment complex doesnt look like they are slowing up building them.
The angle approach is about your best bet at this stage.

LOL Those arent SB's their curbs... And who the hell constructed those speed bumps? The yellow painted ones are clearly uneven. Imo you guys should ask around I bet your neighbors are bottoming out on em as well. Maybe do a petition if the APT guys give you a hardtime.
Love how some dudes just say dump apts and buy or rent a house.. Some people maybe, but for others not so easy to do esp the way the housing/market and or economy is now.

Now is a really good time to buy a house...foreclosures are at an all time high.

But I have to ask? Why are there so many foreclosures? Sure its a goodtime for the richer folks to buy.. But what about the regular folks who dont have a whole lot (hence why they live in apts or had a variable 1st time homeowners deal in the first place)or all those who had their homes forclosed? Do you think its a great time for them to buy as well?

Far from rich, but I do manage my money well. There are so many foreclosures because people are stupid...they run up their credit cards, they get variable interest rates and try to live above their means.
Its the American way!!
My point that I was making was if he cant get in and out of his apartment complex was to look for an alternative place to live...rent/buy whatever. Hell, most apartments charge more than what a single family house payment is....at least here in Florida. In Orlando you are lucky to be able to find an apartment, most were converted to condos a couple years back.

Also replying to that catch pharse (I know not yours) you mentioned..Heck you hear and see it all over place.

F***ing oxymoron if ya ask me. My sis works for SFHA (housing authority) and a younger brother is a realtor, so I hear this stuff whenever I getogether with them, watch them disagree is more like it.
Man just glad I dont rent any longer and on my last 5yrs of my 15 yr housenote

one night go out there with a sledge hammer and take them speed bumps out!!!
You could drive one tire in the middle so it's flat, then just have one side roll up and angle the car over the bumps.
