Anyone intall a switch which allows them to turn on/off the passenger side airbag?

If so , how much, and who installed??

 

Good question. This was something I complained to Nissan about after the salesman swore to me up and down that you could put a rearfacing car seat in the front seat because the airbag was a particluar type that didn't inflate all the way when the belt was pulled out far (which is what happens when you put a childseat in the system)

When I got home with the car, flipping through the first few pages it clearly states that rear facing child seats should not be put in the car unless it has an airbag shut off switch.

Yes I complained to the dealership as well.
