ahh the ricer fly by ...how i love it...especially when you meet them at the red light and they dont care look at you

I usually wave or give them a nod. Flashing lights usually means "po-po in area" to people around here. Most of the time, it's stuck up rich kids around here in Zs.

 

I use to do it in daytona then I moved to Orlando and relized stuck up jerk offs also drive Z's. I would give um' a nod or a little wave at a stop light or a little light flashy flashy when driving in opposite directions but never really get a response.

Reasons being:

1. Old people or teenagers that drive stock dont understand and think Im stalking them or I want to molest them(those are the looks I get)....I guess.

2. People that mod their Z wont really acknowledge a wave unless your obviously modded as well....because of number 1 above.

I'll do either one. It depends on the situation, but I waved to one today only to find out I knew the guy.

I think I'm 50/50 on the subject.

 

Same here - clueless gray hairs rolling stock - zero concept of the Z family.

 

What about actually pulling over when you see a Z broke down?? I was stuck on the side of the HWY in Dallas for 1.5 hours...saw several drive by...one was even identical to mine. Not even a wave..I sure could have used a wrench, pair of pliers...or a ride off the damn road to a safer place...I would always stop for a brother to see if I could help...

It was mid day too and Im an average Joe clean cut, dress nice...wasnt like we were in the hood at night and I looked like a serial killer....oh well

 

Same for me but since I love the Z so much I always wave but i'm very lucky if I get a wave back. Kinda makes me sad, and makes me feel like they don't understand the meaning of having a such unique car . Oh well some people just don't understand

 

I am both of these (grey and stock) and I always acknowledge. Started going grey at 19....my take is it can turn any color it wants...just don't turn loose.

 

One day a Z with an out of state plate was pulled over on the side of the road near my house. When I was driving by he said nice car with a smile. 2 days later he sent me a friend request on myspace lol. Since then I see him all over the place. My story is kinda lame, but thought I would share it.

I'm 27 and I have had some "colorless" hairs in my beard for a few years and a few stray "clear or maybe silver" hairs on the side of my head. I like your attitude and I think I'll borrow this if any more crop up and I have to admit their actually gray, which their not, for now.

 

I don't wave, no point they can't see in my car with the windows so dark. Flashing your lights means cop ahead so all you will do is slow down traffic.

Usually if one comes up next to me i just give a short rev to say hello, older guys will reply same way, the kids will try to race ya.

 

Dudes are usually cool but most of the stuck-up chicks where I live try to act like you are not even there even if you are sitting next to them at a light.
