So I know being we are all part of a 350Z forum, the opinions I will get here will probably be a bit biased.. but here it goes

What do you all think about the SRT4 VS the 350Z when it comes to power/speed/performance? I have a friend of mine who used to own an SRT4 (now owns a VW GTI) and every time I mention something about the power or performance of the 350Z, he always tries to chime in on how the SRT4 was just as capable of doing all of the things I just mentioned.

So what do you all think? SRT4 a worthy opponent for the 350Z? Or not even remotely?

if your friends SRT4 was so great, why did he go to an GTI?

 

Thats a good question.

He kind of screwed himself on the purchase / trade-in .. so at the time he was making an outrageous monthly payment, so he bought a scion.. then bought the GTI when he found a good deal on it.

I didnt really care for the way they sounded either. They apparently prided themselves in the 'pops and snaps' of the exhaust.. being that most of the after-market ones advertised you would get MORE of that if you put their exhaust on your car...

why would you want that? its like a bunch of backfires.. it doesnt really sound good imo. (agreed)

 

my buddy has an srt-4 with stock ported turbo boost controller and some other little things.... from a roll he SPANKS me

but from a dig... i get him off the line but he then catches up when that turbo kicks in...

There's no comparison, the Neon is 10x better than the 350. It not only looks better and performs better, but it's also 10x the chick magnet.

Comparing the Neon to the 350 is like comparing a Ferrari to a Yugo. The Neon wins every day of the week and Sunday.

 

My bowel movements are faster then a Neon.. comes with o-natural NOS..

 

Notice that SRT4 owners always talk about racing from a roll. They're worthless except on the highway or on slicks. There are an annoying bunch here that lose at the track and seek out people to "race from a roll." There are some nice SRT4s but I think the low buck turbo 4 cars are mostly owned by people who used to be heavy ricers. I wouldn't even compare the Z to an SRT4. There's a reason I own a Z. I could have obviously spent less money and gotten less car.

 

^^^^seriously the SRT-4 owners i run into dont seem to realize i could sell my Z and almost buy 2 of their cars

 

Friend has an srt-4 reminds me of a whale with that wing, super slow we swapped cars and it just doesnt compare in power with the 350z. Only positive witht he srt-4 is its a 4 seater, but I never like lugging around people anyways.

350z= very sporty,sleek,quick car. srt4= dodge neon with a weak turbo

Test drive both FTW and you have your decision

 

I have always said the following about the SRT4 ........ you can polish a turd, but it's still a piece of sh*t.
