AEM Cold Air Intake, Sound system, Nav, rims, Nismo Shifter (Hell yeah)
I have some concerns and some questions.
First of all, my third and fifth gear grind every once and awhile, I have asked about this before and people said that its my shifting that is wrong. I have had other people drive the car and they have the same problem I do, even if I fully compress the clutch to the floor, if Im above 4500rpms when shifting to these 2 gears, it grinds. Some one suggested syncros. Is that possibly? Ive also heard of someone getting a new transmission from nissan for the "second gear grind" whats that? lol.
Second of all, Im looking to upgrade some more parts in my 350 because I know that Ive barely scratched the surface. Id like to go with performance obviously, nothing too huge (ie a turbo) but maybe a new flywheel, exhaust, headers. Pointers would be great.
Lastly, I need new tires from my 'learning how to drift' spree, I still suck but Ill get it eventually. What tires are people using? I have bridgestone potenzas and dont mind paying more for tires if they will last longer and grip better.

Thanks for your advice and for dealing with my questions. I know some of them may come across as no brainers but I dont know all that much yet and dont wanna talk like I know when I really dont.

I would repost the questions that you have in the "Tech" Area of the forum. There is a section for "wheels and tires" and a section for "Drivetrain". I would recommend searching in those subforums for the questions posed above. You might get lucky if people answer everything in this post.

 

Get to your dealer and see if your under the powertrain warrenty still. If so , have your tranny swapped out.
