Considering selling your Z? Read This!
Dont do it!!!
You will regret it.
You will probably not find another sport compact car in the same price range that is equally as fun.
You will not really find another car that is awesome to take on the highway, cruise the beach, take to the track all in the same day.
I traded my Z in not too long ago, thinking it was time to get a more practical car, and then just get a older project car. Well I already traded in that "practical car", which was an 04 TL with all options, for an 05 RSX, only because it was the only car I could trade it in for without being upside down in car loans.
I miss my Z everyday, and count down the days till my RSX is now paid off so I can go and buy another Z.
(I realized that there are some falicies with what I said, and every situation is different, and if you can get a NSX, Supra TT, or something like that for about $20k-$25k then you should do it. You probably wont regret that much!) END RANT!

My Buddy has a NSX and if it wasn't supercharged it's not holy S^&T fast. I know a guy who had a 94 supra with a big single turbo and he ended up selling that for a 93 RX7 (mint with all the goodies). All in all it's preference but at this point i couldnt settle for anything slower which IMO isn't realistic given the certain price ranges Z's can be had for.. Sling that RSX and get another Z.
I would love to get rid of the RSX for another Z. No questions asked. The problem is that I know I own a little more on the RSX then what Im gonna get in trade in. If I was only off by like $1000 or so, then I would do it. But I think its closer to $2000 or so.
I have an 05 RSX-s with only 13000. Its a real clean car and all, but no Touring model 350Z with Nav like I had. WHAT AN IDIOT I AM! F***!

...so you traded in your Z for a TL, then traded in that TL for a RSX, now you wanna traded in the RSX for a Z? Dude, it's like you are walking in circle. Why don't just get like a Boxster, Evo, or just hold off for a few years until a new sport car come out? I think it's no point to drive the same car twice, just a waste you money, you know. I your case it just gonna be like wasting money for nothing (expect maybe just for a newer Z, but that's all to it).
I'd only sell it if I ran into financial problems that prevented me from making my payments. As of right now, I'm tight on loose spending money and gas money... But I just don't drive as much and mooch rides off my friends in those times.
Well, another reason to sell the Z... is the younger generation that's f'd up that are beginning to be able to afford the car. They give the Z a bad rep and image.

So true. When cars get to 5-6 year mark, more kids are able to afford them. With that, more stolen parts, etc.
Time to sell the Z
and get a new Z (370).tony
I would wait for the 370Z bro. It's only a year or so off. Keep the RSX-S until then. They have become a car which is popular since it has been discontinued and gets decent gas mileage.
I had an '02 and it wasn't a bad ride.

I think im gonna sell mine. Just found a 1998 Supra TT 45k Red, Volks but everything else is stock. Found it for 28k. Gotta drive 100miles but oh well. I just need to find a buyer 4 my 05z. With the Supra just a few BPU and ill be WAY happier. Tired of how much it cost to upgrade the Z
i was planning on selling my z as well because i got laid off from work the week after i got the z. thankfully, i found another job and am keeping it. i am so relieved. the only car i would trade my z for is a 3rd gen. rx-7. but then again, the vq is so much more reliable than the 13b
I just recently traded in my '06 Touring Z for a '03 Cobra and I have ZERO regrets. I saved $85 a month on my payments but pay a bit more for gas so it's a wash in that department. My insurance is cheaper and I have far more power, and potential for even more power, in the Cobra than the Z, though. It really does all depend on what kind of deal you can get. Also, the cost to mod the Cobra is far less than that of modifying the Z.
Ive had an EVO before. Really nice car, just not sure if I want it as my primary car. I traded in the Z for a TL because I thought I was gonna be a big boy. Bad idea I know.
I'm planning to move up from the Z in the next 3-5 years, but I love it so much I'll probably keep it, AND, the price I'll get for an 03 in 5 years from now will be so low it wouldn't be worth, esp with mods etc.
