Question VDC/TCS Button Operation Question

Is the VDC/TCS button in the Z an "Always On" switch? By this I mean: When the car is started, VDC and TCS will be on, and you have to press the button to turn them off? And this repeats every time you start the car, no matter what the setting was when you last drove?

My IS300 had this, and to get around it most people changed the switch type to an "Always Off" switch, which meant the default setting was TCS OFF. You could turn it on by pressing the button.

Just wondering. Thanks.

It reverts to on every time you turn the car on.
