I always thought the "Porsche" thing was an over exaggeration, until it happened to me. Hahaha. My gf's boss thought the Z was a Porsche...his exact words were "your boyfriend drives a Porsche!?"

Here is a way to have more fun… Find a Porsche 911 owner and ask him how he likes his Porsche Boxster. You won’t believe how fast the correction comes back: “Oh no, this is a 911, not a Boxster.”

i dont think i could ever confuse a Z for a porsche, but apparently alot of people do. i'd definitely frame that, lol.

 

When i first got my Nismo, I went to work & parked it in my bosses driveway as usual. When we got home I was looking for the keys and started to unlock it. Then his neighbor came over, who fancies himself as a car guy (so i hear), his jaw agape. He was asking me...Is that a 911 GT3???!!!

I about pissed myself and told him its a Z.

 

when I got my Z about 5 1/2 years ago you would be amazed at how many ppl thought it was a porsche!
