s2000 temptation update
After a couple of phone calls to the dealer today and a threat to call NNA myself I was notified that my Z has already been built and should be here oct 2.
I'm hoping it will be here a little earlier like within the next month.
So the honda is on the far back burner for now.
No other information such as a VIN available at this time.

Be careful of an Oct. 2 delivery date. Many of the dumbass dealers have been reading their delivery schedule and when it says Sept 2, or Oct. 2 they tell people their delivery date is the 2nd. What Sept 2 , Oct 2 actually means is September 2002, and October 2002 with no date specified. Now its possible your car is coming on the 2nd, but that is a very questionable date.

But if it has been built as they say then 6 weeks would seem like more than ample time for it to arrive. I think I need to check the shipping schedule and see if it looks feasible.

Zoro, if your Z has been built it should have assigned a VIN. From the information zisme has provided, once your car in on the ship (i.e. built) the nissan computer are updated with a VIN, which is put on the daily dealer reports. You may want to look into it.
