Default in and out

Hey guys...

I've had my car for a while, but I still more or less find the car difficult to get in/out of. I'm not a big guy, and I am also pretty limber... my problem is compounded when i cant open the door very far if there's a car parked close to me. what's your strategy for getting in and out?

mine: left leg out (avoiding kicking the door, since that leaves dust marks), right leg out, sneak myself under the wheel and stand/jump out.

Girls: you guys have skills getting out w/ a skirt? my girlfriend complains about this a lot...

Your girl is S.O.L. If your having trouble getting out of the car, don't plan on getting a nice audio system anytime soon, because I have pods for my front speakers and they made it 10x harder to get out in tight spots. ITs not the easiest car to get in and out of, but I believe any reasonable human being can figure it out. Your probably going to get grilled for this one because you just asked how to get in an out of a car and you are a noob. Good luck with the future a$$ kicking you are about to recieve from some of the people on here.

Today, I drove for the first time in 2 weeks since having lower back surgery.
You don't know how difficult it is to get in or out until you try it with a back brace on and your legs are weak from surgery. And I didn't mention the Sparco seats with the tall bolsters.

Being I've been coming from previous sports cars, this one is just as difficult to get out of as the rest... so I guess I've grown used to it.

As far as girls with skirts. Being I've only had my car for a few months - I had my first encounter with a girl trying to get out of my car wearing a skirt this passed weekend.

She didnt seem to struggle with it too much. Granted she also drives a sporty car. Perhaps she has just mastered the art of getting in and out without sharing her goods with the rest of the world

What! you park within 10 miles of other cars. Seriously WTF is wrong with you!

Its all about then end spots

My garage is really tight, so I crack the door open, right leg in, balance my right cheek on the seat, pull the left leg in, shut the door.

But yea those girls gotta be careful, I mean according to the complements thread all girls that get in a Z never seem to have underwear on. Amazing

First thing is first, lose some weight! Second thing, its kinda good that girls have trouble getting out of your car, that give you the excuse to go help them Third thing, go thru the window! this gives the impression that the car is truly a race car!

That’s about what I do. I have a big *** 4X4 parked in my garage as well, so when I get in and out of my Z, I use the same technique as you. I’m 6’2” 260lbs and it is quite a task getting in and out without bumping the door against my truck, but it all works out.

I hear you on the lower back problems, its been rough the past couple of days.

when someone parks close to me its almost as if you have to slide yourself in. Its pretty rough sometimes. oh well, whatcha gonna do. when someone parks that close to me i just draw a dick in the dirt on thier car.

The Z is not a walk in the park... Honestly the Z is a taxing car to drive.. I myself love the workout but i made my friend drive my car after driving his girl's brand new G and the difference is night and day..

I'm old but in fairly good shape so I just get out like a normal car....(I do occasionally grunt though if I'm particularly tired).

i love my Z & i do enjoy driving it but i know what you mean about having trouble getting out of it. i'm an average built guy. i did lower the Z and i noticed that didn't help at all. looks good though! I feel like i'm crawling out of it every time i get out.

I have a hard time getting out too. And the funny thing is my jewels end up getting hit a lot of the time when I'm sliding across the seat... I'm considering getting a less bucket-like aftermarket seat if there are any.
