Default When will accessories be available? (zisme?)

My dealer says they probably wont be in until October.
Anyone heard otherwise?

I really want to get a front nose bra to keep my car protected on the 1400 mile drive home from the dealer (please dont turn this into a debate about front bras - I'm not a big fan of them and dont intend to keep it on once I get home).

Zisme, if you're around, any idea when these will be available?

ps. If any of you happen to talk to your dealer over the next few weeks, ask them if they have a nose bra in stock. If so please let me know!

I want the nose bra too .. i have heard very bad things about the quality of paint on recent Nissan models like hte Maxima. There have been many complaints of pre-mature or overly sensitive paint chips on the Maxima's and Altima's. Im afraid of ruining the car unless i can get some kind of protection for the car .

Default Got my spoiler in today

My dealer just received my front and rear spoilers today for my Chrome Silver Z.
He had them shipped last week priority because he said they anticipated back orders. I was surprised they came in before they car.

I live in MS.

Please tell me the part number for the rear spoiler. Also, is there an indication in the part number for the color? I want to order a Silverstone rear spoiler. Thanks

Thumbs up

I won't give you grief about the bra, but I will say this... with the number of miles you'll be putting on it to get back home, that's a LONG time for a bra to be buffeting in the wind and rubbing your hood raw. Maybe you could reinforce the seam with some extra soft material (non-synthetic) to keep that very thing from happening.

Just a thought.

The last time I had a car painted (quality job) I was told to let the paint cure for at least 90 days before using a bra or a car cover. You might be better off if they can't get the bra in time.

Does anyone know if the front end mask includes a piece for the hood? None of the pictures I have seen have one on. I assume the front bumper is platic so I am not too worried about it because the impacts usually just leave a small indentation and don't take any paint off, but on the hood it will leave an indentation and chip the paint plus it would be more visible on the hood.

I ordered my cover today......parts rep at dealer said he had a part number, so he would be able to order it........said I should have it in 2 weeks......we'll see.........but at least I got the order in, that way if it goes backorder I should get type of priority.......wouldn't be funny if I have the cover prior to the car?.......maybe I could use it as a sleeping bag or something!!!!

My spoiler is here at the dealer today. My car should be here next Tuesday, so just in time.
