Where did you come across this info?

 

So little old me in Mississippi means I get mine from Jacksonville maybe? Any thoughts on this?

I was wrong. The boat will get in at about 8am with 248 Z's on it. Another boat will arrive a few days later with 30 Z's. Nissan will be putting them on carriers (10 cars per truck) to get to the dealers. Depending on your options, you may get a slight delay between port to carrier times (adding kickplates, etc)

Just my $.02 but my dealer in Harrisburg, PA said his cars will come into Baltimore. That was all he knew, no dates or anything.

 

For interested parties...

Auto Banner is scheduled for arrival in Port Newark the morning of the 23rd. It moves in the afternoon to the Bayonne port. No idea yet which port will get the Z cars, but the operatives are in the field trying to acquire that info.

MBEGuy, My Z is supposed to arrive at Newport News VA (according to my regional rep). I have an estimated delivery date of Sept 12th (from my dealer).

With this info in mind, I would guess that my car should be on the Pearl Ace.

Just curious, where/how did you get this info?

My dealer told me Sept. 12 in NJ...I have a VIN. I'm guessing my car is on the Auto Banner...so hopefully I'll get it a little sooner....my birthday is on the 7th...how cool would that be? Happy 27th to me!

 

Actually, I am guessing that your car is on the second boat to arrive at Newport news (I do not remember the name of the boat). I mentioned it above. The reason I say this is that most of the others on that boat I know of have a delivery date of ~9/4 to 9/6. We will know soon as I expect the VINs to be in the system in the next few days.

I finally got the call today with my VIN# and Estimated Delivery of 09/25. (I don't think I can possibly stand another MONTH). Based on that delivery date it would appear that my car would arrive on the HUAL Trooper Voyage #58. Which supposedly hasn't left Yokohama yet 08/31.

Does this sound right that the cars will be coming only via the HUAL line into Jaxport? Or perhaps it will come on the 09/05?

Is HUAL the only line Nissan uses?

BTW I am in South Florida.

 

First if you have a VIN the ship is supposed to be on its way as for the delivery date of 9/25 I would back about 2-3 weeks to look for an arriving ship. The way deliveries seem to be going I would guess that you might get it about 1 week before the 25th.

 

Holy crap! Ocean Spirit, there it is, due to hit Newark (NY) on 9/10. I can't believe I got some straight info from the dealer.

 

HUAL might not be the only boat line Nissan uses. I have schedules for HUAL, NYK Line, and Wallenius Wilhelmsen. Those are the three biggies that I'm aware of. Different carriers stop at different ports. I know Hual stops at Jax. One thing's for sure -- the boat schedule is dead-on. If there's supposed to be a monstrous orange barge arriving on the 5th, then it will definitely be there. Travel time from Yokosuka is five weeks. Schedules are pretty verbose and easy to read, so I hope this helps.
