My Z and I will never part
Its a f-ing car man. Its an inanimate object.
Forgive me for being ignorant, but I just can’t comprehend feeling “love” in reference to a lifeless collection of alloys and plastic.
I "love" my wife and I "love" my parents; hell I even "love" my dog. But a lifeless object?

Wait, that is a bad analogy, because there isn't really a wife, parents or a dog either....
IMO if you dont' love your car you shouldn't drive a sports car. Why own a nice house if you don't love it cuz if you don't love it you won't take care of it cuz it obviously doesn't make you happy. Every time I sit in my car I feel a little happier.
Oh and I never moved back in with my paren't I just haven't move out of the house because my parents are devoreced and somone need to be there to walk the dog and take care of thing while my parent is gone and I pay for rent so it's not like i'm just mooching to afford a z.

Do I like my Z? Yes… Do I enjoy my Z? Yes… Do I take meticulous care of my Z? Yes… But love? Nope!
If a meteor hit and destroyed it right now, the first thing I would think about is how much $$$ is the insurance company is going to give me so I can get something sweeter.
I wouldn’t cry or be distraught or even feel a sense of loss. All I would worry about would be how I’m getting to work tomorrow and when does the insurance company cut my check?

don't get me wrong, the car isn't a replacement for my wife and daughter or even my house. but if a meteor were to smash the car (as you put it) i would be pretty ticked off, regardless of what the insurance company does since they won't pay me for my time or mods.
by the way, the car is not inanimate when you're driving it.
