For all you guys talking about going 170+ on 600cc supersports, stop.
My top speed read 170 on the speedometer, however, I ride with a GPS and the GPS said 147mph. That was on my 2005 CBR600rr.
I've had Dad's 911 up to the 130s a while back with him in it, otherwise haven't really taken a car over 110ish.

Sure they can, snap turn, but continuous say about 6.5 or 7 max.

145+ in a 1977 6.6 Trans Am, southbound on I-5...Port or Tacoma Rd. to the Main Gate of Ft. Lewis in under 9 minutes.
But I was 18 then.

just shy of 160 in the Z. I won't be doing that again unless I get a LOT more aero. Felt like my tires were barely touching the ground, and my ex was screaming at me to go faster (she was drunk). Car had a lot more left as far as RPM's and such, but was just too unstable. I do however hit 130-140 at least twice a week on my commute to work in the mornings. Feels fine at that speed to me. SBC here I come
