145 in a 2005 EVO VIII. Scared the S**t out of me! My Girlfried had my '05 Z to 115 when I told her to pass someone on the highway I didn't think she would take it that far when a cop passed and I almost S**t my pants! I still let her drive it as long as I am in it, but I told her no more speeding! LOL!

i have not done it, but some buddies set the H3 (heli) record from texas to cali by flying 300+ with an abnormally fast wind from aft.

in my z, 160.

 

there was 65 people that went over 205+? any stories of it happening in a Z?

 

I doubt it... Takes a LOT of power to go that fast. And just as much *****!

 

i think the limits of the 6MT gearing, stock obviously, is 190. this is of course in a zero wind/friction environment. the 5AT is like 205.

also, the people saying 205+ are probably cheating and considering airliners to be part of this poll. and a few might have gotten rides in NASCAR type cars, exotics, etc. highly doubt we have many Z's breaking the 200MPH barrier

 

i know i'll catch sh?? for this but 100. did'nt buy the car for how fast it will go.
got it for its drop dead good looks,black on black! to me only car on road that looks faster is an 97-2005 vette. this car turns more heads than pamela anderson!

 

125 in my 07 350Z on I-10. wasnt even pushin it though. had a 6'3"/ 275lb passenger too.

146 in my old S2000

 

looking at ur digital speedo, it looks like it says 117, unless didn't have it reading ur speed, which most of us do, especaly in a high speed run

 

156mph 2003 Z
160mph 1990 Gsx-R 1100

 

183 in a CLK 63 Black Series and 172 in a 993 TURBO. Both, were rock solid at those speeds.
