No, 55 MPH on a bike is the same as 55 MPH in a car, in a bus, on a train, in a plane ....

..hey, aren't you that Mizzou grad I talked to a few weeks ago?? Never mind, that explains why you don't' understand that MPH is same for all vehicles...

You moron. Motorcycles only have two wheels so you have to multiply the speed by X2 for each wheel. 50 * 4 = 200. So his math was a little off, at least he understands how cars and motorcycles work.

On an unrelated note, I hit 8 mph in my cousin's big wheel. That's like 400 mph in a car when you factor in the three wheel theorem and also because it's made of plastic...

Did 151 in my '03 Base model, bone stock. Is that about right? Didn't seem like it was gonna go any faster, it was on 151 for a good 10-15 seconds. I figured that was about as fast as she was going to go.

to all you jerks who is saying 55 mph is the same no matter the mode of transportation, any re re knows that! I was relatively speaking. When youre on a bicycle, 55 mph feels significantly faster than in a car. stop being gay

Myself, mid 150's comming off the front straight at Firebird on an R6, and mid 170's on both my R1 and GSX-R750 on US95.
Not true. I have had my zx6r at 170.
