123 on I-15 between fallbrook and escondido, cop roared past me with his lights on, thank god he had somewhere more important to be. and since then i havent hit passed 100.

Strange, I did a very similar thing coming up from the Del Mar fair in July, was midnight and i raced this kid brendan i know in my old G35 against his like 92 camry (yeah not much of a match but interesting to see the outcome lol) I hit about 125 and slowed down but my friend went past me still going over 100 and next thing you know my police radar was doing the beep that it does when a cop is near and one flew past me and pulled up alongside my friend and then sped off and made the next exit, where a whole tons of cops were parked in the interesction below with their lights on. Whatever it was that happened down there mustve been big and saved my friend!

i take that road all the time bro! There is no traffic and weaving through traffic is a breeze in the z. I think ive gone about 130 on that road.

 

145 on the autobahn. Stationed in Germany so the Z came with me. The reason I got so scared wasn't because I felt like I was going to lose control but it was because it felt like I wasn't going fast at all. That's when I was like screw that.

 

176 08 gsxr 600. That was all it had in it, with just a slip on.
The Z is good for 148 as she sits, bone stock engine wise.
Every vehicle I've had one of the first things I do is go find out how fast it will go...Guess Im still a little kid at heart.

dude, no way in hell a stock 600 is hitting that. And slip on exhausts are nothing more than an exhaust tip. All for looks and sound, won't change a thing about the performance.

Even IF the speedo was reading that, all supersports have a factory error on those so you're going slower than they say you are (cant remember the exact percentage.)

 

Hit 158mph on my 07 ZX6-R, then 163mph with mods.

Hit 178mph with my '00 Viper GTS (wasn't even maxed in 5th, but was 3rd day with car and felt that was good)

Hit 131mph so far with the '08 NISMO. It felt super stable up there, unfortunately the canadian standards for roads are not those of the states. All my top speed passes have been done in Montana, where I do believe they only instituted speed laws a few years ago.
