Reckless or not it felt like nothing doing 164 in my Z. But on the other hand i find myself at 140 quite often

A mere 96, in California, but that's not so bad for an almost 76 year old.

150 in my 04 roadster with the top down on new tires....was not scarey. rather smooth
136 in my 5.9 jeep grand cherokee. Thing can cruz all day at that speed as if it were 70.

 

How did you not get caught?? Maybe I'm just scurred but 125 with my own car

145 in my 2002 Honda Civic Si. Cruised all the way from Dothan AL to Ft. Rucker AL, approximately 24 miles. Took all of 10 minutes. Stupidest thing I ever did.

Hit 140 two weeks ago while out carving some curvy roads when some audi (no idea on model) comes out of nowwhere. We starting hitting some good corners then a good mile straight came up, at 140 I glanced in the rearview and he was nowhere to be seen haha. I backed off after that and went home to rethink my decisions

He was good at keeping up on corners though I'll give him that

i thought this was a dumb thread until today.. I went 140 for a little bit and then I slowed down. do these cars have a governer? I know I had more room to go faster. I wanna hit 160.

 

156 to 157 is the limit unless it is removed.

I've often wondered what kind of idiot would answer a question like this one on a public website. I guess it's pretty much every kind of idiot.

 

When I was young and fueled by stupidity, I raced my 94 Trans Am against a buddy's Trans Am. Hit 125 when the governor kicked in. I was ahead of him though lol.
I've never raced my Z nor plan on it.

 

Somewhere around 115 in my '88 Nissa Sentra. Only took about 10 minutes to get to that speed, took a while for the tri-turbos and the supercharger to kick in after the NOS ran out. I think the speedo topped out at like 110 or so and any pebble in the road would have killed me.

Top speed never interested me too much, too many tickets I suppose. I would love to check the 200 MPH on ground idea off of my bucket list though. Anyone know how I can do that?
