Default Said goodbye to the Z today

After 5 1/2 years I said goodbye to the Z. Was a sad day. It took me 3 days to get it back to stock. I got everything off minus the stoptechs. I feel sure I'll get a 370Z when it comes out. I'm hoping to be getting a company car soon. For now I'm gonna drive my 86 MR2 and 84 nissan truck as long as I can stand it. I have to say the Z was the best car I have ever owned and thats a bold statement. No dought it's the best bang for the buck in the sportscar world. Even if I don't get another Z I will still attend ZDAYZ every year as long as they have it. Happy trails to you guys.

I'm not sad. I look forward to getting a new car though. Fight it Chad fight it. Driving the 80's everyday gets old fast.

I was one of the first to get a Z back in Sept. 2003 and I sold it a few months ago. BIG mistake. I miss that car more than any car I've owned. I hope to get a 370 in a year or so and keep the damn car this time.

Sorry to hear, I'm sure you'll be back..

I had a Z when I worked at Nissan and bought an Xterra when I left. After 6 months I traded in the X and got another Z. Never looked back..

My father had a Datsun/Nissan dealership in the late 60's through early 80's. He had a 240Z when I was a kid and he loved that car. When I got my 350Z in Sept.2002, I went to the Nursing Home where he was staying and they let me wheel him outside and into my new Z. We only drove for a few blocks before I had to take him back, but wow, you should have seen him smile. He died a few months later at the nursing home and now I regret not keeping the Z. That one memory was one I'll never forget.

Great to hear. As a kid, my uncle bought a 1983 datsun 280 ( I remember it was an rusty orange) and I sat on it lots of times.

Been a Z fan since.

I have had 1988 300zx, 2004 350z coupe, and 2005 350z roadster. I just sold the roadster. Looking to get the 370z when it comes out. The tradition continues.

Keep the tradition alive. My grandfather owned nothing but Nissans as well as my father. They've had every Nissan/Datsun you can think of. 240, 280, 180, 300, 350, Titan, Armada, Pathfinder, XTerra, etc.

I followed in their footsteps. I started off with a 240, then a SE-R SpecV, and now my 350Z. 370Z when they arrive will be sitting in my driveway one way or another.
