I wanted a is350 but the biggest compliant from ppl was that your cant turn VDIM off, which it a safety feature. So you could never kick it side way or anything unless you got the 07+

Answers to all of your questions:

http://www.nissanhelp.com/Models/200...escription.htm

This covers the options available for each year.

As for HIDs:
03-05 - all but the base trim had it
06+ - all trims have it (bi-xenon)

srt4turbo1, please keep your SRT4. The way you're talking, your car will look something like this...

I think I overpaid for grand touring. Sure it has a sweet interior and wheels and navigation but anyone with a base model could upgrade seats, wheels, and ICE and still had money left over. VDC saves your butt though.

SRT4's are decent pieces of machine IMO. I'm thinking of getting one after I sell off the Z for college.

Please stop encouraging him. It will only result in more threads like this one. The aswers are readily available in many, many places. One only has to look.

Its not a Lexus.

And yes, they have made a few small changes to the interior, starting with the 06 model.

Z's are popping up because prices are coming down on older models. The same body style for quite some time adds to the illusion that these cars are everywhere. The blindspot is horrible when you try to back out of a parking spot. Its very difficult to pull anything more out of these highly tuned motors with simple bolt ons. You will have to force induct and thats hellafied expensive.

SRT's more reliable than Z's? Well I guess we know who I think is talking out their butt.
