Burnt orange is available on LA.

 

From what I hear its not Nissan with the cheap paint. It the EPA that making car companies use cheap pait to be enviroment friendly.

Did you negotiate a final price before you pre-ordered? Or do you have to wait until the car arrives?

I went to a dealer this past weekend and they told me 04's could only be pre-ordered at MSRP and that 04's wouldn't arrive until late 03 early 04. I think they have their heads up their asses.

Not to mention the sales rep and the manager new nothing about the changes for 04 including LA.

Is frost interior available with LA paint? I'd really like to get SS, but I'm insisting on frost instead of black. Guess that rules out SS.. Why they won't do a frost interior with SS paint is beyond me..

 

what the hell does this color look like any explinations at all????? some one should investigate it .....I just order a blue one and I havent seen a LA color

 

Find someone who wants one of the SS interior colors and is going to buy a color that has frost available, and have them order the frost interior, then just trade them seats.

 

I could understand that if the car was manufactured in the U.S. but the Z isn't. EPA doesn't have any pull in Japan. Or does the old paint that used to be durable on our cars emit some type environmental hazard after its on the car.??????

 

Car has to meet US spec standards...thats why a Japanese car has to pass US emissions to be sold here. Doesnt mater where its built.

Alot of this orange peel is not just Nissan's fault, but the result of the Us having to use "high-solid" clear coats. I have a guy whos a chemist workig for car detailing company.
