There's a way to get your VIN and delivery date on the Nissan News website? Where exactly is it on the website, b/c I'm searching, but can't find anything...

Default "VINS can be gathered from the website"?

Come again? Can you please explain how you are finding VINs on the Nissan website?

I am assuming he is talking about the Nissandriven.com website, it has a feature that you can search dealers's inventories, so may once the car has cleared the port and ready to go to dealer it is added to the dealer's inventory.

Yes, go to nissandriven.com, go to the "design or search for your nissan" page, enter a zip code. If you can find a dealer with stock it will list the VIN. Try 90210 if you want to see one.

GCinfl-
I merged your thread with the other thread about the nissandriven website. Just so you don't think your reply disappeared. Thanks!

Haven't seen any VINs over 1,000 yet, but close to it. That means that about 1,000 have been made out of the 7,000+ pre-orders. That would seem to indicate that about 1/7th of the pre-order cars are on their way.
I just found VIN #1212 at some dealer in Cerritos, CA. That's only like 50 less than me and it's the same car as mine!

I've been putting in random west coast zip codes. Found cars in Vegas, Phoenix, San Fran, San Jose, Orange County so far. I must truly be insane.

Default Tucson area

Hey all. Just looked up my area (Sierra Vista, AZ) and nothing was listed in there yet, but according to the nissandriven.com stuff, there are three listed at one dealership in Tucson (Jim Click), and one has a VIN that ends in T001124, so they are coming out for numbers over 1000. The other two are in the 600-800 range, so once again the arrival based on production number follows no ordered logic. I tried calling the dealership to see if they were actually in yet, but couldn't get through.

BTW, my dealer here in Sierra Vista told me that we were supposed to get one yesterday (+/- 2 days), so I am anxiously awaiting his phone call. It is a pre-order from someone who lives in the Scottsdale-Phoenix area. Mine should arrive Sept. 9th (+/- 2 days). If either come in in the next little bit, I will take pictures and post them (though I am pretty darn sure that I won't get to test drive someone elses pre-order.

Later.

Ya, I'm having a blast with this search too- a bunch of dealers in California seem to have a few Z's in inventory-

Let's see if we can find the dealership furthest EAST that has a car...

Default Furthest east so far....

So far, I would have to say it is Tucson, Arizona.

One question, though. For it to be on a specific dealers inventory list, does that mean the car has actually been delivered (or sold or sitting on the lot), or is just scheduled to be delivered soon? Any takers?
