Don't remember exactly what it said but I think I remember it saying that if you have had 3 sets of tires on your car that you can get a credit for like $270 for Nissan service.

 

Yes I got it yesterday and got excited for a min but after reading all the guidelines that quickly changed. You have to have stock rims and bought three sets of the same tires to qualify Oh the tires that are on there now have to be under 15k miles for some reason????

 

I got that letter also. I've only bought one set of fronts and the stealership previously installed a new set of Potenzas so that's only two new sets. Still, I'm sending the letter back because it's still worth a try.

 

Technicalities. They try to get you in some way.

Wonder if the set that Nissan replace with the TSB is included in the 3.

Yes. I got some papers in the mail last week. Tossed them in the trash. Figured it was a con. Some thieves collecting "processing fees" which will never lead to anything.

 

Is there a processing fee?

I normally throw theses things out as soon as a get them so I have no idea.

My tires never feathered but i was hoping to rip off nissan for fresh tires with that lawsuit, damn it. lol Oh well so much for that.

 

I got it last week. I don't even qualify, so, I crumbled it up and slammed it in the trash can.

 

I got this like a year or two ago??? It didn't apply to me since the dealership already replaced my front tires free of charge and fixed the alignment issue.

Original preorder owner ( 2002 ) and I am so insulted I suggest to you to send it back blank with a list of the intentional , prohibitive requirements their lawyers snuck in to prevent most of us who deserve compensation from getting it and tell them that . Any barristers still own one , especially preorder people as myself who feel this was more than a railroading sham ? We were really well represented to the courts now , weren't we ! I have never seen anything like this in my sixty years . And do you want to bet they'll get away with it . Oh , forgot , they already have .

PS Pick up a copy of Conde Nast Portfolio magazine this month . Great article on the eight suicides that occurred at Nissan because of unrealistic expectations set on their employees . Hm..........
