Default New things for my Z...

So, I got my first paycheck at my new job. I want to put it into my car. around the range of $500 would be good...it's just to start anyways. What do you think should be done first? i already have tint, and audio.

i don't know what is around that price really...i will do some research, but i'd like some input from ya'll. thanks!

A JWT Pop Charger would cost you about $120 shipped, if you dont already have one get it! I just installed mine and it is great. Sounds great, even claims to add 6.5hp.

Z Floormats are nice.

Those 2 things will probably run you less than $200.

Depends what your looking for. If its performance stuff I'd get a Plenum spacer. They can often be found used for great deals. and new prices aren't too bad.

I personally think the PopCharger is a waste of money, OE box w/ a drop in filter will likely do as good of a job, and won't heatsoak as bad.

But it just depends on what you want out of your car. Noise? popcharger. a few HP? plenum spacer, maybe some HFC's.

Personally, I wouldnt buy a pop charger either, but it gets hot in the summer where I live. If I had 500 extra dollars for my car, I would buy a plenum spacer, Z floormats, RDX antenna, and a new cover for the hatch area cause I got battery acid on mine

oh, and if you dont end up getting the pop charger, I think the K&N high flow filter is like $60

Get on ebay. Be patient. You can do a LOT of damage w/ $500.
What year is your car? What about a set of '06-'08 takeoffs?
I just nabbed nismo floormats for $38 - from west covina nissan
SHIPPED. The popcharger - usually $70-$100. Why not an Injen
CAI? The antenna is a no-brainer at $15 shipped. You might even
happen upon an exhaust that fits in to your budget - Search APS,
there is a nice reserved st exhaust at a huge discount - $250.

Refuse to pay retail and make the money work.

I heard that the popcharger can cause the engine to stall. That's why i never bought it. Got a nismo CAI instead $189.46 at thenismoshop.com. It comes with a air bypass valve(to prevent water from getting sucked in) for daily driving, and a straight silicone tubing for track days.

Def. get a k&n if you don't go the popcharger route. I got mine for $24 on amazon. Google shopping will show you some good deals.

And get a helmet for the track.

And like lgear80 says, get a shorty antenna. Cause you will hate the factory one after a while...

I am an official ebay nut. Get serious about a list of things you're looking
for and I can help more. Do you have paypal setup? My suggestion is to
start searching 350z (w/i title only) and check out every auction.

If you go to Ebay, make sure you are very, very careful about what you buy.
Too many bootleg, and low quality parts.
Your best bet is to use the vendors on this site.

IDK about the rest of these guys but I like my PopCharger. I live in central cali gets to about 109 F in the summer still no problems. I've had it since I had about 1000 miles on my car. Now at 36k miles. Passed cali emmisions w/o a problem just make sure to keep your sticker.

I agree on the ebay patience. I missed out on a used nismo exhaust I think bidding ended at $458.

Swaybars and a helmet. Sways make the biggest improvement on how the car drives and feels, and a helmet is needed for autocross and HPDE
