I could care less if the OP has to LIVE in his car in order to to afford it. But I have zero use for anyone who drives without insurance - as far as I am concerned, they should get a jail term. Any idea how much the rest of us pay to cover idiots with no insurance? And how would you like to deal with the hassle if he hits you, or even worse?

 

 

Okay how and why are you driving a Z in the first place? Just sell it and buy a bike dude, you can get a permit by passing a written test and getting your motorcycle license later will be a breeze.

I mean think, bikes are cheap, very fun, 600cc's are even faster than the Z, and they get great gas mileage. The only thing you loose is practicality, and it's not like the Z is all that practical of a car.

Either that or buy an econobox. Either way sell the Z to someone that actually has a license and the ability to pay for the car.

I've been young and dumb before (in fact, I still am) and I've seen a friend fall into a similar situation, except he didn't drive without a license and didn't drive without insurance. Don't expect sympathy from anyone for driving without a license or insurance, and don't expect much sympathy from fessing up to it.

I'm an empathetic guy and I tend to be understanding. You can blame the world and bad luck for all your problems, some of which you put yourself into, or you can do something about it, which it looks like you're doing. Think about what's really important to you. Is a car more important than your future? Think about your goals and how you want to reach them.

This is all assuming we're not getting trolled.

Don't forget California also has the population and economic production of a small country, too. There's more places to live. Hawaii, NYC, etc.

 

Rudy, listen man, don't put anything on credit cards. You'll end up paying for your Z and credit cards well into your mid to late 20's. Credit card debt will eat you alive and leave you poor for years. You will hate the Z if you let it destroy your life at the age of 18 and live as a slave in your 20's.
