Not w/ my Z b/c it's stock but w/ my '69 Stang....I would smoke all 4 of those...regardless of what car you drive or who is in the driver's seat...there is someone always faster. Seriously though....all 4 of those cars you listed and the mods they have are nothing to write home about.

Ppl just hate b/c they're immature or they're hating b/c they've dealt w/ an immature owner. It really goes both ways.

 

You know whats funny is that a bunch of non owner z people come on this forum to talk about the Negative on our cars .Do they have a life or what? I just joined and thats all ive been seeing. the Z is an import icon. Its a very great all around car with styling, power, and craftsmanship. in regards to the cocky sore losers remark, i agree that it can pretty much be said about any other cars' driver.
STI's will say that about EVO's
EVO's will say that about SRT-4's
SRT-4's will say that about Z's

damm even LAMBORGHINI's will say that about MASERATI's

in all essence, car enthusiast will always be bitter towards other cars which they dislike because of characteristics of the majority of the drivers behind the wheel of those cars. but not all Z drivers and owners are *** hats. A lot of us have plenty of respect for other cars. There is always something better out there so why hate on it

I could care less how others look at Z's, or z owners.
I own a Z, and LOVE it...and that's all that matters to me.
I don't know these other people, and they don't pay my bills.
Their ideas and thoughts are not important to me and my life.

 

A lot of people hate on z's. could be a combination of two things, jealousy, cause it's a cheap sports car that does it's job very well. and on top of that it is does not respond well to mods when NA, so you it gets stomped a lot in street races/drag races by other cars that respond well to mods (wrx, sti, evo, v8's) since it's so much cheaper to raise boost/reflash ecu's. plus v8's respond verrryyy well to intake, exhaust.

i'm not too worried about it. while I do think about going awd turbo often, I still love my z, and am going to start the whole autocross bit, where many z's dominate.

In short, Z's are popular and its been an extremely successful car.

nobody want to pick on GTO owners, their car was killed after something like 3 years. RX-8? uncertain future. Evo? non-profitable halo car plus it looks like a sedan. But the Z..the Z is profitable, good looking, fast, has a very bright future, and simply hasn't had any glaring faults. Seems like a perfect candidate to hate on. After all someone's gotta bring us off of our high horse.
right?

And the best part? It's SOOOOO EASY!!! The Z can be beaten in virtually any measurment if you put it up against the right car. Plenty of cars are faster in a straight line for the money. Plenty of cars handle better for the money. Lots of cars are faster in a straight line AND handle better. Some cars are better looking. Etc... I could go on forever. The Z is about balancing all these things, which makes for a great car, but not particularly good bragging rights.

You, my friend, clearly didn't read my entire thread, or you just have a hard time processing information. I am a Z fan, a Z lover, whatever you want to call it. I am speaking of my experiences of OTHER Z haters, so do us a favor and re-read my original post. Sorry to be a dick, but I'm here to my friends, not foes.

If your a Z lover than why are you worried about what your friends and other people think?

 

I can't agree with this hate at all, the evo 8 and 9 are total monsters in every aspect. They did kill the evo with the 10, but that's a whole nother story.
