attempt number one at trying to find out if they caught her went down in flames as the MPs were douchbags over the phone. Even though i was told to call today to get an update they treated me like a child with down syndrome when i acknowledged that "yes" i do in-fact understand it takes a week to make a final report but that i was told to call in for an update. Awesome work fellas keep it up is all i said and hung up. Hopefully ill get a better response later.

damn man - I cant believe it takes a week to even do a report...That super sux....it aint like you have to deal with your car looking the way it does...now you have to wait a week. Please let us know the outcome (cost, charges, etc). Also show us them pics of your car fixed. Good Luck man..

****ing drunk drivers. Not only was it a drunk driver but a woman...that makes it even worse.
Sorry to hear about the car man. Hope she goes to jail for not only drunk driving but fleeing the scene.

looks like the rear bumper can be saved so figure probably $500 for that to be repainted. the wheel is obviously toast but you can get replacements from brokers for 1/2 what the dealer would charge. Fender needs to be replaced and then blended with the door. I guestimate around $3000 max

Well, try and talk to the SGT Of The Guard... He should know. Or tell your TL, ATL, SL, PSG/PL to call for you. BTW, whats your rank? Sometimes they will treat you like that if you're lower enlisted...

well im heading to Ranger school the 14th so im kinda screwed on time. Im a pv2 yea yea i know but its not like im a 15 yr old. Now I am only 22 but im responsible and know what im doing. That's one thing i've grown to hate in the military, if you are a lower rank you are obviously retarded. I agree to some extent that this is true, however there are exceptions. I'm going to give them until Tuesday and i'll call them back. I've been busy as hell and haven't been able to make it to the body shop yet. However i have talked to my insurance company and am currently waiting for a response back from them. I appreciate all the help and condolences so far
Ill keep this as updated as possible.

yea i've talked to my TL and SL they are cool as hell and are willing to go with me especially since they want to drive my car... Ha I told them its going under lock and key while i leave. But yea its basically just a waiting game atm. As soon as i have a day off or at least a half day im going to get a few things straight. I refuse to take no for an answer any more.

Well i had the car looked at and I was quoted, $2,572 worth of dmg. So now all i need to do is get ahold of the MP's (they've had more than enough time now) and see what they have for me.

If that happens to come out of the deal, I would like to get hit eh about every other month haha. But some nice clean side skirts and a rear diffuser are on my "to do" list along with a lip for the front. Just waiting till i get back from my next deployment. I like to think of it as my post deployment present to myself. The first one being my car

threads like this make me sad...why don't we hang drunk drivers? I mean seriously. They will kill someone eventually. and they are destroying a lot of property...so should they be allowed to live? I think not.
good luck.
Similar thing happened to my Brother back in 2004 he bought a 04 F150 FX4 in that BFY color (yes that means "bright ****ing yellow") he had bad luck in his mustang (got in somewhere around 6 wrecks in under a year, none of them his fault...multiple times he was sitting at a light.)...so he bought a HUGE yellow truck. 1st day @ his new house, he had it parked on the curb as the drive was full of moving trailer...drunk slammed into his brand new truck. its really hard to get parts for a car 1 month after it comes out.
good luck.
