anyone notice the slight tint on the windows? it's most pronounced in image #26, through the driver side door window.

 

One other thing I remember, which is also shown in the pics.

I don't think the Daytona had Kick Plates, but the bottom door jam did have a chrome "Z" right in the middle. Looked very cool.

I think the optional Kick Plates were all silver.

Having Jmanz post them here for all of you brings more satisfaction than money would. You are the ones most deserving of these.

Now if Nissan asks me to stop taking pictures, and for that, they will upgrade my base model Silverstone to Track....we'll, you guys will have to wait for the mags for more pics

 

I love the Daytona Blue. It looks exactly like the Laser Mica Blue of my Mazda MP3. I ordered the Silverstne though. Can't wait to see it in that color. I didn't think that the blue would flatter the lines of the Z, but, boy was I wrong. Speaking of flattering the lines of the Z, I felt I was taking a gamble when I ordered the Aero Package, but I stuck with it when I could have changed my order. Again, BOY, am I glad that I kept it. I think it looks awesome. I dare say it actually improves the look of the car. slightly. but after seeing these pictures I can honestly say I would be very disapointed had I not ordered the Aero package. Man, I cant wait for this car!! Thanks again Scafremon, you have made everyone's day. week even. If you can actually get Silverstone pics I would feel tempted to offer you my first born. lol. j/k.

 

Laker's lost and I get to see new pics of my future car. I'M IN HEAVEN!!!!! I am so glad I ordered the Aero kit...It makes that butt look even better. That spoiler is just right...not to big like the McDonald Arches I've seem on Z'z in the past. It's perfect. I 'm really glad I'll be getting the 17 inch wheels, they look so much better. The 18's are so cheap looking. Aftermarket wheels in 18's or 19's are a number one priority after looking at those hideous things. Let's be real they do suck...The Ray's will look much better though....Hey Scarfeman If you see one with the splashguards....snap it...Great job...Mr. President

 

I think I'm gonna get new 18's too, I'm lookin at Moda R6's (like TX's Lex) or SSR GT1's, but at $400 a wheel the ssrs are a bit steep, I dunno, any other suggestions?

And thanks for getting us those pics Scafremon, I ordered silverstone, but changed it to black at the last minute, can't wait to see those two colors. So whaddaya think, black and silverstone next week??? I wish I could take a week off and drive to southern california just to see and hear the Z's, but I gotta go to work, no work, no Z.

 

hmm, i don't think the 18" wheels suck. and the wheels you see on the daytona blue track Z are the Rays wheels.

Anyone notice there is no cassette player in the Z? Not that it is important..but I thought there was one...

 

You get a cassette player with the more expensive stereo. The one in the track model is the "standard" stereo with AM/FM/CD only.

 

that cassette really doesn't matter, since u are not going to use it alot anywayz...~

 

is it just me or is the Z's *** real big? heh i like it!!
also.. that aero kit does not look bad AT ALL!!... it acutally looks really really good on the daytona blue
another thing... anyone see the "Z" in the air vent to the left of the steering wheel.. u can see it in picture 28.. people said it probably wouldnt make to production but looks like it did!!!

Man, i ordered a silverstone Z, but now after looking at the Daytona blue, all i can say is DAMN!!! i have a blue 328 Ci right now..and i figured i wanted to change out of blue to something else, since i have had my bmw for 3 years now. But now that i am looking at the daytona blue, it is making me think twice about the silverstone. See what you have done scafremon, you probably put half of us "Z'ers" in confusion.

after viewing these pics, i dont think any color would look bad on this car, it is such a bad a** car that even the color of sh** would look good....

Now, the rest of us will be waiting in suspense to see the silverstone and the black.

And as far as the antenna, i think it looks good.

Wow. That brickyard is beautiful! I was picturing something more red, instead its a deep burgundy. Till now, it's been silverstone all the way. Now I may have to rethink things....

Anyone else notice that the silver looks, well... kind-of ordinary compared to the brickyard and daytona?

 

Silver still looks great, but its just that we've seen it everyday for the last 4-6 months . We just now see the other colors and some out their are gettin jealous ..

but in all seriousness nissan is doing a wonderful job with the fit and finish of the colors on the production models if this is the way they are coming out. I have a feeling that the basic colors will look amazing also .. like black/white/red ..

 

well..i do use it, since i have a portable MD(mini disc) player which i have been using in my camry for about 4 years...and i play the MD player with the cassette tape. Oh well, that means i can't listen to the old songs.. , its still good.

Antenna? What antenna? I was too busy looking at the car itself..
