I would just check to make sure everything works, including all the lights. Drive with the radio off and listen for unusual noises. Also pull the dipstick and check to see if the oil looks clean. Other than that there's not much you can do without a lift and special equipment. I would never buy a used car [out of warranty] without taking it to a qualifed mechanic first.
