I have a confession...
In for a good, unbias (as much as you can be), comparison between evo and z.
Tell us what you liked more about the z?
What made you get the evo?
Biggest factors going into you missing the z?

and now the girlfriend has found a real man. one that wont leave him because he found an ugly girl that is more fun to play with untill you take a good look at her. if i was her i would kick you in the ***** and not take you back.... so yeah. get a g37
i drove my buddies evo for the weekend when he went out of town(he didnt know) with intake, TB exhaust, boost controller, clutch and flywheel and a cosworth cam i guess and i fcking loved it. Power is amazing it looks good and handles ok. That and i love stock turbo FTMFW
. I would trade him at anytime and have no regrets

Ok guys.. ur making it sound that i hate the evo .. I dont ! I love my evo
some of the reasons why i want to go back to Z/ or maybe G
1. Insurance.. I pay 320 a month for the evo full coverage, while i used to pay like 150 for the Z
2. Day to day driving, Z is more of a cruise car u dont get tired of stiff seats and suspension, Basically Evo is 'wake up and track that b*tch'
3. Evo attracts way too much unwanted attention, Z used to blends in.
etc etc..
My insurance is high thanks to boise police
WhiteNoiz, ask edwin (evo 8) how much he gets pulled over a week, i was in boise during summer, and he was telling me that he gets pulled over 2-3 times a week.. and thats what used to happen to me when i was in boise
(I just moved to Tucson last semester)
Reason why i traded the Z, was that the evo had everything that i wanted in a Z.. Turbocharged, AWD,etc etc
Insurance and comfort are the only 2 reasons i want to trade in my evo. Now that i have a bike (gixxer) i pay 720 a month for the evo and the bike .. and that for a student is a pain in the ***.. i know, its my choice .. no one told me to get an evo and a bike
But anyways, I am just thinking about it going back for the Z .. just a thought, it doesnt mean that i will anytime soon (until i see and test drive the 370z)
what else? did i cover everything?
heres the evo and the gixxer

Evo - 339 hp, 91 octane on a Mustang Dyno
here is the Z

Guys as i said.. i am still thinking about it and see if a trade to a Z/G is a good thing for me .. i kinda like the G37S, but the fact that i am going back from a Turbo charged car to a NA car is .. tough
I am also waiting on a good deal on a 07/08 Z06.. taking my time not in a rush
lol did i answer everyones ques? I should be spending this effort in finishing my paper

Thanks for the reply. I had to re-read the word Boise a few times thinking *is he talking about Idaho?* After I stopped skipping over that word I continued on and saw you were! There aren't many people from Boise on this forum. Interesting that the police here are hard on Evo owners. Ive had the Z for about a year now, and have yet to be pulled over (knock on wood). Although I am careful, always have an eye out for the police, the Daytona Blue stands out enough as is hah. I think I may have seen your evo around town, unless there is/was another black one. Anyhow, enough about local stuff no one cares about.
The Evo is a great car, thats my main reason for asking for the comparison, so thank you for that. From time to time I ponder owning one, but I dont think I would sell the Z at this point, probably just keep her and build it for TT later on. I really like the Z as my DD, no complaints, the only time I really think about an Evo is when one blows my doors off like I'm standing still
You have some fun toys my friend, good luck with what ever you decide, and be safe on that bike

I graduated from BSU in 2002. Think I was driving an 86 accord back then hah. Ever since I graduated, I stay away from the campas as much as possible with my car. Plenty of "look what someone did to my Z" threads around here. I remember seeing 3 keyed car threads is one day... I have plans to rig my car chassis with 100,000 volts = arm explosion, but now I'm a little OT
Those are some sick cars. Two of my all time favorites.
I was in your exact situation about 3 years ago, just out of college, limited funds, expensive taste. I had a 600rr and an sti that I was spending all my money on. I eventually couldnt keep up with my own lavish (or so I thought) lifestyle.
My advice (financially speaking) would be to sell the bike, sell the EVO and get back in Z and save your money, once your stable (which you never said you were struggling, i only assumed because I know how expensive your toys are) then you drive to forged and do it all over again. HA! just kidding. Seriously though, it sounds like it would be a better idea to get back in the Z.
Good luck though, keep us posted !
