Everyone test the S2000......
I urge everyone to test it. I dont know how the 350Z drives yet, but dam that honda felt good. My Z is comming sept 10 and i cant wait. But if it doesnt drive as good im giving it up right then and there. Theres no denying the Z is better looking, but dam those sounds the S2000 makes.........
I've driven the S2000... and it's a crazy motor... if you didn't have that tach, you'd never know you were flying, you'd just here the motor wailing... sure, it has no torque, but having a 9000 rpm readline in a car is a fun experience!

The S2000 is fun... but 90% of the owners can't drive them, furthermore demonstrating how slow they are without a real driver.
Even MORE impractical than the Z.

Im really sorry but after today i got really stirred up, that car is freakin awsome. The Z is so much better looking, but will it shift well? Is it a very short throw like the S2000?

My dad and sister both have S2000s. I've driven them a bit and can tell you they are an awesome car. Get one used with low miles and they are a great deal. I currently drive a Audi TT and my wife has a Maxima 2002. I hope the 350Z has:
-The stability, tracking and tactileness of the s2000.
-The elegance, comfort and beauty of the TT.
-The power and ***** of the Maxima VQ engine.
I believe it will have all of these things.. Its going to be great, and I cant wait!

damn VQ
I just saw Jay on his y2k last night on a show on speedvision. He said it runs in the high 9's, at first I thought price, then realized he meant 1/4 mile. he said, going into a corner, its brake, put hte power, then 1 one thousand, 2 one thousand GO GO GO! You guys thought turbo lag was bad, try a jet engine, (been there done that, but in airplanes)
