Question Nav DVD/Region

I read the Infinite Nav manual that supposed to be the same as in the Z. I then went to http://www.zenrin.com who supplies the system DVDs to Nissan. They show 9 regions/DVDs in the US.

- Does this mean that I need to buy 9 DVDs to drive around the US ?

- Does Nissan ship one DVD with our car that covers only the area that the car was delivered to ?

- What if you live right at a region boundary, do you get 2 DVDs ?

- If I was going to take off across country the week after I got my Z how can I buy the DVDs now so I'm ready to go ?

For the first point, no. One of the major reasons for DVD is the capacity. One DVD will have the entire continental US on it.
