Window sticker error
i understand where OP's opinion is coming from. i think he's using the same logic as collectible cards (baseball, Magic, etc..).
but im 150,000% sure a little mistake like this wont increase the car's value, now or in the future

In '92 I was at a Chrysler/Plymouth dealer an noticed that there were 3 Laser's with Mitsu grilles on them. Sales guy said they never noticed and told his manager. Manager said they'd just order the correct grilles and swap them out. Factory flaws are common enough in today's mass-production world that they're not valuable.
Then that's a Touring model. It's very common to see cars mis-classified when being sold by non-Nissan dealers.
My sticker said I have cloth seats. If you look in my car, I have leather seats. I could put the OEM switches in place of the blanks and claim that I have a factory mistake too. What I have in the car is different that what the original sticker says. That doesn't make it any more valuable than any other car.
Again, it's insignificant in the big picture of things. One of the biggest problems with old cars is keeping them stock with OEM parts. People pay a premium all the time for a old car with the original pieces. Having the wrong or unexpected piece isn't making it worth any more to a potential buyer.

IMO, the asking price, at least when I was looking at it, wasn't low enough to account for the title problems.
No, you did. It was sarcastic. This guy posts he has a unique, one of a kind car because the missing switch doesn't match the window sticker.
OP
I have to say that this one if kept in great condition and with the original window sticker will definitely be worth the penny because of the mistake!!!!! How many times have we been watching a car auction and a car had a flaw from the factory that made it unique and valuable!
You
My suggestion was that somebody forgot to knock out the plugs and put the switches in place at the factory

Wow, somebody else out there got what I meant! I dont fell stupid now! For everyone else out there look at it like this! If I bought all the stuff from a Nissan dealer that makes the Nismo edt so rare (entire body kit, dampers, wheels, cloth seats, white face tach, Brembo's ect.) And installed them on a base model 08. I even would go out and make up a fake number plate! No one 30yrs from now wouldnt be able to tell the difference between it and a real Nismo edt! But that window sticker makes it legit!!!!!! So for everyone who says they dont think it will be worth more, maybe your right! Who knows! But to say that they can simply take an enthusiast and add the seats, you still dont have the other options that seperate it from a Touring model. Again, this is all my own opinion.
NISNO has welded body sections that no other Z has. Somebody would be able to tell. You're talking about the difference between something significant (NISMO vs regular) to something insignificant (heater switches).

Ok, I would also weld up the frame. Now tell the difference! Get my point. If someone does this to exact dimensions no one would be able to tell the difference. Thats why car auctions today you do see so many (original) window stickers on the glass! Thats the only proff! The older cars had the difference in vin numbers for the engine and build sheets and fender tags to seperate the cars! Our z's dont have that!
