Throttle body spacer? might as well just set your money on fire.

The only acceptable use of a TB spacer on a VQ is the AAM one if you need some extra vacuum ports.

Ok, throttle boy spacer is out. I'm getting the 5/16" plenum spacer, but am not sure which intake. I need it to pass smog in CA, am I better off just getting the pop charger? Do not respond if you don't give a sh*t. Thanks

You could pay for what I just bought and you'd still have $25 for dinner. This would help my performance drastically!

Seeing that you have on 03 Z, I would stay away from the bolt-ons unless you're planning on a tune.

Just get a k&n drop in filter. Don't bother wasting your money on the popcharger unless you want the sound, the gains are very minimal. The stock intake is designed pretty well.

Default Participate in 10 local Autocrosses...

...or go to one driver education weekend at a local track. You will be surprised at the "performance" you get from a very improved driver.

agreed wholeheartedly, however.. you can get a plenum spacer for just over 200, and that adds what, 10-12hp?

there are some affordable things you can do. might as well keep saving though

Plenum spacer is not a bad option. We have them for just over $200, throw a K&M drop in or a JWT pop charger with it and have some money left over.

Or as suggested by many put that money aside and save some more to go with it and start planning for a more serious build.
