Should I buy??
Hello all, I am new to this forum but I've done alot of research on the net here and this seems to be the best 350Z site for information by far. I've never owned a Z before, but have always loved the car and been very interested in purchasing. To make a long story short, I have the opportunity to purchase one very soon here. Ideally I was looking for a black exterior with the burnt orange interior (favorite color combination) but they aren't easy to find it seems. What I have located is a 05' Black on black Touring model with the 5AT. Its a drop top and has alot of nice features including leather, navi, and aftermarket triple plated chrome Stern wheels, with only 20K miles on the clock. The dealership that I'm looking is asking $19,500 for it and it has a clear title with no prior accidents, one owner local trade in. I've searched these cars alot and this seems like a pretty good deal. Can anyone tell me if this is worth it?? Being my first Z, I'd just like to have everything in line. Thanks for the help its greatly appreciated and this seems like a great forum!!

I just bought my first Z. It is a 2006 6MT 25k miles for a little less then that price. It's been an awesome car. Really changed my mind on imports. The car handles great, looks great and best of all gets up and goes when I want to. I washed and waxed it today and got a compliment from somebody. I'm sure you can haggle a little bit with the dealer to get a better price. From people that I know that worked for dealerships they usually aim for about 5k more then they paid for the car.

If you are happy with the price, then it is fine. The price seems pretty good, but I'd think you could do better in today's market. I paid $20k for an '06 GT with 21k miles a couple months ago. It did NOT have NAV.
Given the current economy and market in general, I would tend to see what I could find in an '07 over the next couple of months.
I don't like chrome wheels. I don't like AT in a sports car. However it is you that will be driving it it.
Good luck.
