Default It smells like mildew everytime it rains?

I have a convertable 350z and every time it rains it smells like a strong mildewy smell for a day. Is there like an air filter that needs to be changed out or something? Please help...

Sounds like you've got a leaking seal somewhere. The rain water is seeping in and soaking into something (like carpet). If you are still under warranty take it in. If not, then search like hell to find a wet spot in the interior.

No air filter in the Z. Very common in areas with high humidity. I assume that you are not storing the top when it is wet. Unfortunately the best mildew killer, bleach, with also ruin your top.

Its not leaking nearly every Z has this.. Crappy ac air intake. I sometimes spray a little lysol in the vents near the front wipers. Then blast I the ac (fresh air) on full with top down until it dissipates .

Some other tips here

I second that. I've had experience with this being the issue/source of the smell. Never tried the lysol thing though...smart!
