I've never met Pat but after over a year on the site with him, I feel like we are best friends. One of the good guys.

Good News! I just got an update from Susie and she tells me that Pat's surgery went well. He'll be a sore puppy for a little while but the bypass went without a hitch. I'll let you all know if I hear anything. I am sending Susie the link to this thread so she can print it up and bring it in to the hospital so let's hear it for our friend.

Got another update from Susie this morning. Pat is still in ICU which isn't out of the ordinary for this surgery in my experience. He is doing OK but the recovery is slow going. No major setbacks or anything like that. Just slow but sure. I'll keep everyone posted.
