I say goodluck, your close, but gonna have to finance like 5k for a decent one. I on the other hand am going the opposite way. I am looking for a high mileage Z for cheap, and getting rid of my lotus. I am gonna build a tt one, so Ive looked and seen none for 10k.

 

Your going to have to search the internet for a high mileage,few dings and automatic.I've scene a few for as low as 6000 but it had a salvage ticket.

 

yeah ive found a couple that are like 12000ish. im really looking for a MT. and i dont want to finance at this point in time with the economy the way it is. im working so my budget is increasing little by little.

you can get a high milage 6spd Z with $10k. There was a guy in 350zmotoring trying to buy a black Z with Stillen TD, 19" Volk TE37s and 89k miles on it for $11.5k. He checked it out and he said it was in near perfect condition. If you see a Z selling for say $11k-$12k, try to bring it down to $10k and most likely youll get a deal. But with your budget, your looking at an 03 with 115k+ miles on it. Good luck!

 

The scary thing is the Z could one day go for this price because of depreciation, not to mention the 370Z coming out soon...

 

just wait until the 370z comes out you'll find plenty of 03's for less than 12k...
