I would agree that Nissan could do a bit better in distributing information to the dealers and therefore the customers. I would bet that since all of the delivery information isn't something that is normally given out much or sought after much, they weren't fully prepared to deal with this problem. We also have to remember this is Nissan, the same company that normally sells Sentras and Altimas, etc. This aint BMW or Porsche or Jaguar, etc. We just won't get the same level of service as those makes because we didn't pay a premium for it. I wonder though, do the people who pre-ordered the G35 Coupe have any information yet?

 

I agree Matt, Nissan of Natick has done a really good job keeping me informed also. When I called my salesman (Dave Geoghan sp?) he told me that the two people who ordered after me had their VINs about 1 week before he was able to get me mine. The interesting thing was he showed my delivery date of Sept. 2 (even though I didn't have a VIN) and even mentioned your delivery date of Sept. 12. I only received my VIN # this past Saturday and he stuck to the delivery date of Sept 2. This doesn't make much sense to me since theoretically the VIN is only given when the car is loaded on the boat.
