Talking Help, I need an answer fast!

Help! I just bought an 03 350 with the 6 speed manual and every time I shift from 1st to 2nd the tires go "Urrrrp"!

I love my 6 speed! I am just wondering how many horses I need to get 3rd to do that!

Congrats on the purchase. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I have all bolt-ons and can get it to do it up to fourth I believe, last I checked. Maybe it was 3rd, I can't remember...

I believe you're right, on stock tires. With wider stickier rubber it probably won't happen without upgrades...

I have stock tires/wheels still. I am thinking my first mod will be the exhaust. What I was wondering though is if it would be cheaper to buy an Apexi/Greddy muffler and have a muffler shop just add 3" tubing as necessary or should i just go with a whole catback kit?

That would be another thread, and it would have to go in the Intake/Exhaust section...

Just do it when it's really wet out..

and in your free time do a search for 'wrecked', 'crashed', 'traction', and 'teens'

Enjoy - be safe.

On my 275 bridgestone potenza re050a pole positions I can chirp 2nd, but barely. 3rd is impossible for me.

Werd. I run the same size. I couldn't hit anything past a 2nd gear scratch until I started doing bolt-ons.

Stop being a meathead that kind of fun will cost you. There is a reason they call that BURNING RUBBER bc literally you are. Have you priced 2 50" wide profile tires!!!!

After the novelty of feeling cool under and controlling that kind of power you will wish you learned to control that right foot. But I'm not hating enjoy your Z but I'll warned you the Z car is a Sports car and the price to maintain it is not cheap. It not only looks like a Porsche the tires almost cost the SAME for a set!!!
